Playful Sunday!

We had a small get together in our house yesterday since my aunt is back from Australia. 

Everyone came over. My cousins, aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews. 

The kids were so cute so I was excited to play with them! 

Hence, I wore something colorful, cute and playful.

Besides my family, the thing I love the most about family gatherings and reunions is FOOD! 

Who wouldn't love food anyway, no one! Hahaha. So I really ate a lot. 

My god, my stomach was about to explode from all the sea foods I ate. 

Good thing I wore something comfy!

Who says lace on lace wouldn't look great? I think it is a perfect combo! 

I wore a simple sheer top to balance the texture and print of my blazer and skirt. 

I really love how perfect two different lace designs together and that's the beauty of mixing and matching, prints, textures, designs.

Everyone's been busy, some with school, with work and with other stuff that's why we rarely see each other. 

I'm so  glad that we all had time to meet up though some didn't make it.

OVER EXPOSED!

Sunday morning and the sun's out early. It feels like it's really chasing me.
When I'm about to take my outfit shots, it hits really hard and shines so bright but then after a while
 it hides again and then shines bright when I'm about to pose again for my shots
so I apologize for the overly exposed pictures. 

After a few tries, finally I got good shots. Hahaha.

So today I wore a very laid back outfit.
I just put on a simple outfit since it's Sunday and we'll be having lunch for Dad's birthday.
The top I wore is very comfortable, it's made of cotton and it's very breezy.
Perfect for our weather here in the Philippines. :)

I have been really obsessed with prints lately cause it brings out the fun and playful side of me. It makes me feel like I wanna do a lot of things and play around. It adds up the energy in me to be productive and just enjoy things. So today I wore Polka dots. Polka dots  rarely appears in formal attires, however, and is generally confined to more playful attire.

People say that it is a fashion NO NO to wear printed top and bottom but I beg to disagree. Fashion trends nowadays are very bold, adventurous and experimental. You don't need to follow such guidelines. You just have to be brave to stick up to your own style.

Palazzo on a Sunny Day!

I love how this pants make me look a bit taller. (Lakas makadaya, diba?) 

Palazzo pants has this effect that elongates your legs, good fashion trick huh. :)

Palazzo pants is one of the hottest trend right now.
You can basically pair it with anything and you'll look effortlessly elegant, stylish and edgy.
As for my look, I paired it with cropped animal print top to add extra spice.
I don't wanna look too formal since it's so not me. Hahaha.
I also added geometric necklace, my ever trusted/favorite bangles and rings to complete my look.

I'm feeling like a Rockstar today!
